- Develop and execute the organization's marketing and strategic communications strategy
- Lead branding, corporate communications, public relations, media relations, and reputation management initiatives
- Oversee digital marketing, website, social media, and content strategy
- Drive high profile events, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Build and manage relationships with media, agencies, government stakeholders, and strategic partners
- Advise executive leadership on communications strategy and crisis communications
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing marketing and communications team
- Manage departmental budgets, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 14 years of progressive marketing and communications experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise across branding, strategic communications, public relations, media relations, digital marketing, and corporate communications
- Strong executive stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
- Experience within higher education, public sector, government, or large complex organizations will be advantageous
