The Director, Global Program Manager, drives cross-functional Asset Strategy Team effectiveness by translating interconnected strategies into asset-level direction and execution.
The role acts as a strategic thought partner to the Asset Strategy Lead and Asset Strategy Team and serves as the operational coordinator for the asset.
The position supports pharmaceutical and biotech programs across disease areas, therapeutic areas, and global teams.
Strategic execution
- Drive Asset Strategy Team strategy and execution by translating strategies into executable plans.
- Translate strategies into integrated evidence plans across sub-teams and governance forums.
- Coordinate timelines, milestones, deliverables, and reporting across project management partners.
- Use scenario analysis and analytics to support decisions, prioritization, and portfolio tradeoffs.
- Identify, communicate, and manage asset and disease-level risks and mitigation plans.
Team effectiveness and governance
- Structure Asset Strategy Team discussions to improve alignment, decision-making, focus, discipline, and efficiency.
