About the Role
Shoppers Drug Mart seeks a Director of Digital Strategy and Innovation to define digital innovation and ensure new capabilities have long-term measurable value. You will own the definition and execution of future-state capabilities, guide product strategy, and mentor cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Mentor cross functional team members, fostering a collaborative and high performance work culture
- Own the success of future state digital capabilities definition for innovative program delivery
- Define the value proposition and business case for each new innovative capability
- Act as an innovation lead and change agent, continuously assessing industry trends and emerging technologies
- Use data and analytics to assess capability performance, adoption, and impact
- Engage with internal stakeholders and partners to share the innovation roadmap
- Influence senior leaders and external partners with clear, strategic thinking
- Partner closely with the Director of Digital Optimization & Enablement to define what needs to be built and why
Requirements
- Senior product, platform, or digital leader with experience owning complex systems in production environments
- Preference for experience in product strategy and digital transformation
- Strong systems thinker who understands how technology, operations, data, and people intersect
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity while driving discipline
- Strong executive communication and influencing skills
- Passion for innovation, user experience, and building for the future
- Data driven decision maker with a bias toward measurable outcomes
- Excellent time management, organization skills, and attention to detail

- Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Strategy & Systems, the Director of Digital Strategy and Innovation is accountable for defining our digital innovation and ensuring these innovative digital capabilities have defined long term measurable value.
- This role owns the definition and effective execution of future state capabilities.
- You will guide the product strategy to solutions based on market insight, patient and provider healthcare delivery trends, innovative technologies, and ideas from other industries.

Hiring Range
- CAD 145,000.00 CAD 195,000.00 per year.
