- The stated base salary range is CAD 165,000 to CAD 200,000.
- The role is eligible for discretionary variable compensation based on business and individual performance.
Role Overview
The Director, Data Platform Engineering will define and execute the strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap for TD's Global Transaction Banking Data Platform.
The Databricks-powered platform supports data products, advanced analytics, AI insights, regulatory reporting, and transaction banking capabilities.
The role combines data engineering expertise with technology leadership, talent development, and business delivery.
Strategy and Platform Leadership
- Define the platform roadmap and align it with business objectives and enterprise technology strategy.
- Lead platform modernization, engineering transformation, automation, and AI-enabled development.
- Establish standards and governance for data, architecture, APIs, integration, and platform services.
- Partner with business, product, architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations leaders.
