Director - Data Engineering 3

Drive the delivery of segment and cross segment platform architecture to support value creation in the next 3 years.

Work towards optimizing and enhancing existing platforms to maximize efficiency and performance and reduce total cost of ownership.

Utilize the available tools for Data distribution and Data visualizations, contributing to the overall analytics capabilities.

Lead and contribute to technical integrations using Service Now, ensuring effective Data Governance.

Implement seamless connectivity across different systems and data sources.

Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to implement effective data solutions.

Implement and enforce data governance policies using Service Now for enhanced control and visibility.

Work closely with Data and Architecture POD to establish and maintain data governance best practices.

Ensure compliance and security of data through effective governance measures.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, especially in Azure Platform Technologies, Multi-cloud technologies, Gen AI / Open AI capabilities, Terraform scripts, and other data virtualisation technologies to enhance the efficiency of the data platform.

In-depth expertise in migrating data platforms, including strategy development and execution.

Proficient in troubleshooting and optimizing data platform performance during and post-migration.
