Role overview
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Director of Cost Management to lead and develop cost management teams.
The role oversees cost management services for large-scale construction programmes and drives commercial and financial performance.
Leadership and service delivery
- Lead cost management teams, client communications, service delivery, resource planning, financial management, and staff development.
- Set team goals, develop high-performing teams, and support mentorship, career development, succession planning, and recruiting.
- Lead market research, produce thought leadership and market insight reports, and represent the business with clients and industry stakeholders.
Commercial and project management
- Track project budgets, forecasts, change, revenue, margin performance, and resource requirements across multiple commissions.
- Oversee cost planning, cost controls, forecasting, reporting, change management, procurement strategies, bid evaluations, and value engineering.
- Prepare proposals and RFP responses, identify cross-selling opportunities, and support business development.
