The Direct Support Staff is responsible for the monitoring and supervision needed to carry out the Activities of Daily Living for the residents they serve.
The areas of their responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Documentation, Behavioral Intervention, Teaching of Daily Living Skills, Supervision, Social Interactions, Communication, Home Maintenance, Interpersonal Relationship Skills, and Transportation to appointments and outings.
No experience necessary – we will provide paid training.
We are looking for candidates who:
• Aged 18 and over.
• Enjoy helping others in a positive manner.
• Have empathy and active listening.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal manner.
• Have great teamwork skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• The successful candidate must be cleared by a MN DHS Background Study.
