Role Overview
Konecranes is hiring a Diploma Engineer Trainee for its Crane Service team within Industrial Services, South Asia.
The role provides services and maintenance at site locations and contributes to local service delivery under the Lifting People Strategy.
Qualification
- A diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
Competencies and Skills
- Good written and verbal communication in English is required.
- The role requires the ability to work in teams and knowledge of MS Office.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards is required.
- Knowledge of any other language is a plus.
Service Responsibilities
- Accept branch-planned work packages and record work against the relevant service request or work package.
- Record faults and exceptions using the Risk and Recommendation method.
- Estimate labour hours and parts costs for repairs.
- Perform safety and visit reviews and record next steps.
- Consult customers to support informed buying decisions based on service recommendations.
