Role overview
Work as a Data Scientist in teams addressing statistical, machine learning, and data understanding problems in a commercial technology and consultancy development environment.
Contribute to the development and deployment of modern machine learning, operational research, semantic analysis, and statistical methods for large datasets.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytics for customer needs and opportunities and translate business problems into analytical and AI solutions.
- Collaborate with software developers, software engineers, data engineers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data, perform exploratory analysis and hypothesis testing, and identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop statistical models, dashboards, visualizations, predictive solutions, recommendation systems, and optimization solutions.
- Design, develop, train, deploy, monitor, and improve machine learning models using MLOps practices.
- Apply generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI techniques where applicable.
- Build scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
- Document work through reports, annotated code, and project artifacts, and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI standards.
- Prototype new approaches, stay current with AI and analytics advances, and contribute to AI strategy and governance.
