About the role
Lead the strategy, development, optimisation, and governance of Balfour Beatty UK's digital learning ecosystem.
Own the performance, roadmap, and continuous improvement of the LMS, LXP, and associated learning technologies.
Use learner insight, analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve employee learning and business impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of the digital learning ecosystem, including LMS and future LXP solutions.
- Maintain governance, standards, and quality controls for digital learning content and technologies.
- Ensure mandatory, compliance, and role-specific learning is deployed, monitored, and reported.
- Optimise learning reports, dashboards, and analytics covering compliance, engagement, and platform performance.
- Improve learning content with content owners and ensure it remains accurate, current, compliant, accessible, and aligned with organisational requirements.
- Support audits, assurance, regulatory requirements, business cases, procurement, vendor evaluation, and future platform delivery planning.
- Manage relationships with LMS providers and external learning technology suppliers.
- Identify opportunities involving AI, automation, personalised learning, and emerging technologies.
- Provide consultancy and support to stakeholders, managers, and learners.
