ALVORA is seeking a Digital Forensics Analyst for a part-time, hybrid role in Dubai. The analyst will collect and examine digital evidence, perform forensic and malware analysis, and document findings to support investigations and security assessments.

Responsibilities
- Collect, preserve, and examine digital evidence from various systems and devices
- Perform forensic analysis and malware analysis to identify threats
- Document findings in clear, structured reports for technical and non technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to improve incident response procedures
- Support legal and compliance requirements and recommend preventive controls
- Develop and refine digital forensics methodologies aligned with industry best practices
Requirements
- Strong forensic analysis skills including acquisition, preservation, and examination of digital evidence
- Experience with malware analysis and cybersecurity practices
- Proven analytical skills and ability to interpret complex technical data
- Knowledge of digital evidence handling standards and chain of custody procedures
- Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, or Sleuth Kit
- Understanding of incident response, network security principles, and operating system internals
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant certifications such as GCFA or CHFI are an advantage
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information discreetly
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English

Role Description
- The Digital Forensics Analyst will work in a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on site and work from home responsibilities.
- The analyst will collect, preserve, and examine digital evidence from a variety of systems and devices to support internal investigations and security assessments.
- Daily tasks include performing forensic analysis, conducting malware analysis to identify threats, and documenting findings in clear, structured reports.
- The role also involves collaborating with cybersecurity and IT teams to improve incident response procedures, support legal and compliance requirements, and recommend preventive controls.
- The analyst will help develop and refine digital forensics methodologies aligned with industry best practices and company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong forensic analysis skills, including acquisition, preservation, and examination of digital evidence.
- Experience with malware analysis and related cybersecurity practices to identify, classify, and remediate threats.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to interpret complex technical data to produce clear, concise investigation reports.
- Knowledge of digital evidence handling standards and chain of custody procedures.
- Familiarity with forensic tools and platforms (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, Sleuth Kit, or similar solutions).
- Understanding of incident response, network security principles, and operating system internals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications such as GCFA, CHFI, or similar credentials are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information discreetly, and collaborate in a multicultural environment.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
