Responsibilities
- Design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing microservices-based architectures.
- Architect solutions leveraging GraphQL APIs for optimized data access and flexible integrations.
- Provide technical oversight to multiple agile engineering pods, ensuring consistent delivery standards.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Application teams to co-create seamless, user-first digital experiences.
- Lead integration with third-party solutions and APIs, ensuring security and performance best practices. Technical oversight of integration with key enterprise systems, including CRM platforms, pricing engines, payment gateways, and external services
- Participate in and contribute to ARB governance, presenting architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Drive adoption of DevOps, SRE, and CI/CD best practices.
- Evaluate and implement AI-powered features in collaboration with data and innovation teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards by implementing necessary controls and protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- 10+ years in digital engineering, software architecture, and solution design.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience working with GraphQL and integrating APIs and third-party platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills, especially in partnering with application teams to ensure aligned, cohesive digital solutions.
- Experience contributing to and guiding ARB governance decisions.
- Knowledge of modern agile practices, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
