Department Purpose
The Digital, Data, IP and Technology group advises on complex commercial contracts, IP, technology, and data-rich transactions.
The practice covers technology procurements, digital infrastructure, telecommunications transactions, IP licensing, collaboration matters, and data protection compliance.
The team supports corporate M&A and joint venture work and serves government-owned, domestic, and international clients across the Middle East.
Role Purpose
The firm is recruiting an experienced commercial lawyer for its Digital, Data, IP and Technology group in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
The role requires experience in technology transactions, commercial contracts, or non-contentious IP matters.
Some data privacy experience is preferred.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, amend, and negotiate Digital, Data, IP and Technology agreements.
- Provide strategic advice on matters within the Digital, Data, IP and Technology practice.
- Manage client expectations and project delivery appropriately.
- Develop a personal business development plan and assist with business development campaigns.
