Role Description
The Digital and Web Technology Specialist develops, maintains, and manages company websites and web applications.
The role covers hosting, domains, DNS, integrations, performance, security, troubleshooting, and support for digital marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve WordPress websites and web applications.
- Develop and customize websites using PHP, ACF, Elementor, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Troubleshoot bugs, technical issues, and compatibility problems.
- Manage hosting, servers, domains, DNS, migrations, backups, staging, and deployments.
- Monitor performance, Core Web Vitals, uptime, errors, and website health.
- Maintain security, SSL certificates, access controls, backups, and software updates.
- Manage APIs, plugins, software integrations, GA4, GTM, Search Console, and conversion tracking.
- Support Meta Ads, social media platforms, technical SEO, and digital marketing activities.
- Work with internal teams and external agencies on web and technology projects.
- Evaluate and implement useful digital tools, platforms, and technologies.
- Take ownership of technical issues and resolve them efficiently.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on WordPress experience and strong working knowledge of PHP.
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields and Elementor or Elementor Pro.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, MySQL, and WordPress databases.
- Experience with hosting, servers, domains, DNS, security, backups, and performance optimization.
- Experience with APIs and third-party software integrations.
- Understanding of technical and on-page SEO.
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
- Understanding of conversion tracking, events, and attribution.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and independent-working skills.
- Fluency in English and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce websites.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, and Conversion API.
- Experience with Cloudflare and cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Git, version control, staging, deployment workflows, and Linux administration.
- Experience with business software integrations, landing pages, conversion optimization, social media, or digital advertising.
