Responsibilities

• Obtain and record food and equipment temperatures
• Clean departmental equipment using proper sanitation measures
• Sanitize food storage and preparation areas
• Assist cooks in meal and tray preparation
• Retrieve and return tray carts to nursing units
• Operate dishwashers to ensure proper sanitation of all dishware
• Prepare dining room for resident meals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures
