Role Invitation
JOME Engineering is seeking an experienced two-stroke marine diesel engine specialist in Dubai, UAE.
The posting combines two possible tracks: Diesel Engine Manager and Senior Engine Supervisor.
Manager Track
- The Manager track requires 12–15 years of two-stroke engine service experience.
- Manager candidates should have leadership or Chief Engineer experience.
Senior Supervisor Track
- The Senior Supervisor track requires 8–10 years of experience.
- Senior Supervisor candidates should have experience supervising overhaul and troubleshooting work.
Engine Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience is required with two-stroke marine diesel engines.
- Experience may include WinGD RT-flex, X-Series, or X-DF engines and/or MAN B&W ME-B, ME-C, or ME-GI/GA engines.
- Relevant work includes engine overhaul, troubleshooting, electronic control systems, team leadership, and shipboard service.
Preferred Background
- Experience with engine makers, service providers, ship-repair yards, or relevant vessel operations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist service support for two-stroke marine diesel engines.
- Lead or supervise engine overhaul and troubleshooting work, depending on the selected role track.
- Troubleshoot and support electronic control systems on applicable marine engines.
- Provide team leadership and shipboard service support.
