About the Role

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Manage Kubernetes autoscaling and capacity planning using Karpenter and native technologies.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment.
• Deploy and operate Kafka, Redis, and NGINX middleware platforms.
• Automate operational tasks using Golang and Python.
• Improve observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve deployment processes and platform developer experience with software engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes production environments.
• Experience with Karpenter for Kubernetes autoscaling and node lifecycle management.
• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience administering Linux systems and understanding networking fundamentals.
• Experience operating Kafka, Redis, or NGINX middleware technologies.
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Golang or Python.
• Experience with Git, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD platforms.
• Strong understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes container technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating blockchain infrastructure or Web3 platforms.
• Experience deploying and managing blockchain nodes such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Cosmos, or other Layer 1 or Layer 2 networks.
• Familiarity with blockchain RPC services, validators, indexing services, or distributed consensus systems.
• Experience with Argo CD, Helm, Helmfile, or Flux.
• Experience with multi-region and multi-cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and secrets management.
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Familiarity with message queues, distributed caching, and high-throughput systems.
• Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for large-scale distributed systems.

Additional Desired Experience

• Experience at cryptocurrency exchanges or blockchain infrastructure providers.
• Knowledge of RPC infrastructure, distributed databases, or high-performance networking.
• Familiarity with IAM, WAF, Vault, KMS, and related security or compliance practices.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
