Responsibilities
- Perform ammunition design across conceptual, preliminary, and detailed phases, ensuring compliance with MIL STD, STANAG, and internal standards
- Conduct engineering analysis including structural, lethality, and penetration assessments
- Support development and qualification activities from prototype build to testing and evaluation
- Assist industrialization including production line definition, workflow optimization, and equipment specification
- Participate in test campaign planning, coordination, and execution
- Prepare technical documentation such as specifications, drawings, and reports
- Collaborate cross functionally with production, quality, supply chain, and external partners
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, safety, reliability, and cost optimization
- Engage with suppliers and support technical bids and customer discussions
- Execute MRP/ERP tasks related to project execution and documentation control
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- 3 5 years of experience in medium caliber ammunition development, design, or manufacturing
- Strong capability in 3D modelling tools (SolidWorks, Creo) and familiarity with analysis software (ANSYS, MATLAB)
- Knowledge of product design, development processes, and project management
- Proactive, results driven mindset with strong planning, communication, and teamwork skills
- Understanding of Lean principles, PLM/ERP systems, and engineering documentation practices

Role Overview
- Join our Engineering & Development team as a Development Engineer II – Medium Caliber Ammunition Development, where you will play a key role in shaping advanced ammunition systems that meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability.
- You will contribute across the full product lifecycle—from concept design to qualification—ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration with weapon systems, fuzes, and related subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ammunition design across conceptual, preliminary, and detailed phases, ensuring compliance with MIL‑STD, STANAG, and internal standards.
- Engineering analysis including structural, lethality, and penetration assessments to support design decisions.
- Development and qualification activities from prototype build to testing and evaluation.
- Industrialization support including production line definition, workflow optimization, and equipment specification.
- Test campaign participation including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Technical documentation preparation such as specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Cross‑functional collaboration with production, quality, supply chain, and external partners.
- Continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, safety, reliability, and cost optimization.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in medium caliber ammunition development, design, or manufacturing.
- Strong capability in 3D modelling tools (SolidWorks, Creo) and familiarity with analysis software (ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Knowledge of product design, development processes, and project management.
- A proactive, results‑driven mindset with strong planning, communication, and teamwork skills.

Working Environment
- You will be based primarily in an office setting, with regular visits to integration and test facilities.
- Occasional travel to suppliers or international test sites may be required.
