Role Overview
The Desktop Support Analyst is part of the Service Operations team and provides face-to-face and on-site technical support to end users.
The role resolves hardware, software, and access issues in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.
The position operates in line with ITIL best practices.
Engagement and Location
- The engagement is full-time and permanent.
- The role is based in Cheshire and is onsite.
- Working hours are 0800–1700.
Compensation
- The stated salary is up to £33,000.
What You Will Do
- Resolve incidents and service requests logged through ServiceNow or other approved channels.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and meeting room technology.
- Support Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure services.
- Administer user accounts, access provisioning, group membership, and password resets.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and replace end-user hardware and software.
