Your Role

Client Engagement and Leadership

• Lead client projects through project teams and grow business for base-building and interiors projects.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts and fees.
• Communicate project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedules to teams and clients.
• Enable project teams to reach their potential and maintain a positive team environment.

Project and Financial Management

• Manage project processes, service delivery, documentation, client satisfaction, and client relationships.
• Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing, and project setup with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and contractors.
• Monitor budgets and profitability targets, including work plans, fees, billings, and collections.
• Oversee billing, fee management, accounts receivable, expenses, approvals, and productivity projections.

General Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design Managers, Finance, Human Resources, Office Directors, Studio Directors, and staff.
• Build the firm’s external image through professional organizations and current and prospective client relationships.
• Develop best-practice integration, client satisfaction, cross-studio integration, recruiting, and service integration strategies.

Sustainability

• Advocate for Gensler sustainability commitments internally and externally.
• Make sustainability integral to every project and define project sustainability targets with clients and project teams.
• Understand client ESG goals and support project teams in achieving them.
• Encourage team members to pursue sustainability learning.

Requirements

• Successful track record managing all phases of design projects.
• Ability to manage client satisfaction, quality control, project schedules, staffing, budgets, and financial performance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead project teams and maintain a positive team environment.
• Ability to build client relationships and support business development for base-building and interiors projects.
• Ability to define project sustainability targets and support client ESG goals.
