About the Role
Kids First Group is looking for a creative and digitally fluent Design Intern to join their in-house team for the summer. The intern will contribute to live social media campaigns, branded content, and video assets across their nursery portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Designer in producing on brand creative assets for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn campaigns
- Design static and animated content for paid social, organic feeds, Stories, and Reels
- Edit short form video content for social: reels, event highlights, nursery walkthroughs, and seasonal campaigns
- Use AI powered design tools to accelerate ideation and asset production
- Maintain brand consistency across multiple nursery brands using existing brand guidelines
- Assist with resizing and adapting master creatives for different social formats and platforms
- Organise and manage the digital asset library — naming, filing, and version control
- Contribute ideas in campaign briefings and offer a fresh perspective on content trends
- Support occasional ad hoc design requests from the broader marketing team
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or After Effects)
- Strong working knowledge of Canva — including Canva AI features
- Video editing skills for social media: short form, vertical first content with subtitles, transitions, and sound design
- Familiarity with AI assisted video tools such as CapCut, Runway ML, Pika Labs, or similar
- An understanding of what makes content perform on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook
- A strong eye for typography, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy
- A portfolio or work samples demonstrating social media creative and/or video editing work

- We're looking for a creative and digitally fluent Design Intern to join our in house team for the summer.
- Working directly alongside Je, our Senior Designer, you will contribute hands on to live social media campaigns, branded content, and video assets across our nursery portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Support Je in producing on brand creative assets for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn campaigns across the KFG nursery brands.
- Design static and animated content for paid social, organic feeds, Stories, and Reels — from brief to final export.
- Edit short form video content for social: reels, event highlights, nursery walkthroughs, and seasonal campaigns.
- Use AI powered design tools (Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, CapCut AI, or equivalents) to accelerate ideation and asset production.
- Maintain brand consistency across multiple nursery brands using existing brand guidelines.
- Assist with resizing and adapting master creatives for different social formats and platforms.
- Organise and manage the digital asset library — naming, filing, and version control.
- Contribute ideas in campaign briefings and offer a fresh perspective on content trends.
- Support occasional ad hoc design requests from the broader marketing team.
Essential — You Must Have
- Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or After Effects).
- Strong working knowledge of Canva — including Canva AI features (Magic Design, Text to Image, AI video tools).
- Video editing skills for social media: short form, vertical first content with subtitles, transitions, and sound design.
- Familiarity with AI assisted video tools such as CapCut, Runway ML, Pika Labs, or similar.
- An understanding of what makes content perform on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook.
- A strong eye for typography, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy.
- A portfolio or work samples demonstrating social media creative and/or video editing work.
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion graphics (After Effects or equivalent).
- Exposure to education, consumer lifestyle, or family focused brand aesthetics.
- Basic knowledge of social media scheduling platforms (Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite).
- Familiarity with AI image generation tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL E).
- Arabic language skills — not required, but a bonus in our market.
