Role Summary
Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material calculations, and project budgets for commercial interior projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and site requirements to support tendering, project planning, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Study commercial interior drawings, specifications, and project scope.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs.
- Calculate material, labour, hardware, and subcontractor costs.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Prepare tender documents and commercial proposals.
- Conduct rate analysis and compare vendor quotations.
- Maintain costing databases and market rates.
- Support budgeting, value engineering, cost savings, and project variations.
- Ensure estimation accuracy against project timelines and client requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior materials and execution.
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
- Understanding of site execution and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
