Role Overview
Support the design and delivery of infrastructure projects across solar, wind, battery energy storage, telecoms, and grid or utility sectors.
Work across concept design, detailed documentation, construction support, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare civil, structural, and layout designs for renewable energy, telecom, and utility infrastructure.
- Develop CAD drawings, site layouts, technical schematics, planning drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies and coordinate GIS-based site plans, constraint mapping, and spatial analysis.
- Liaise with clients, authorities, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support compliance reviews, quality control, tender preparation, cost estimation, and technical reporting.
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of design engineering experience, ideally in renewables, telecoms, or utility infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit, QGIS, and BIM.
- Understanding of Irish and/or UK planning processes and construction documentation requirements.
- Strong drafting, communication, time management, and collaborative working skills.
