About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client liaison, support business development, and coordinate project delivery, resources, and design documentation.
• Develop engineering solutions and design philosophies, including preliminary and detailed temporary and permanent works designs.
• Perform design checking, technical reporting, subcontractor coordination, erection scheme development, and specialist methodology work.
• Support resource planning, technical delivery, project coordination, cost control, fee proposals, and project variations.
• Conduct site inspections, provide technical support to site teams, and ensure temporary works are safely designed, checked, and constructed.
• Mentor junior engineers, support team development, and ensure compliance with quality, health and safety, and company procedures.

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a strong interest in structural design.
• Demonstrated structural design experience and competency, with familiarity with Eurocodes and relevant design guidance.
• Proficiency in 3D structural design software such as Tekla, Revit, or Robot.
• At least one year of project-lead experience in a client-facing role.
• Chartership progress with IStructE or ICE, or Chartered or Incorporated status, is desirable.
• The role requires flexibility, initiative, and the ability to take on responsibility appropriate to capability.
