Purpose
Design Engineer role specializing in geotechnical and piling design for bids and project delivery.
The role produces piling designs from soil data through buildable design.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret soil-investigation reports and drawings and design bored and CFA piles, including capacity, length, reinforcement, and method.
- Prepare pile schedules, calculations, and design-risk assessments.
- Support tenders with technical solutions and method-statement inputs.
- Provide design support during construction and value-engineering activities.
- Issue designs for approval after Operations Manager review and any required third-party checking.
Experience and Competencies
- Geotechnical or civil engineering degree.
- Piling design experience and familiarity with UAE ground conditions.
- An MSc in geotechnical engineering is preferred.
Compensation
- The structured salary is AED 10,000 per month.
- The description also lists pay of AED 10,000–11,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
