Role Overview
Design and engineer structural steel systems for industrial, commercial, PEB, warehouse, and infrastructure projects.
The role covers structural analysis, design calculations, engineering drawings, and coordination with detailing and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures.
- Prepare calculations for beams, columns, bracings, platforms, frames, and other steel members.
- Design and verify bolted and welded steel connections.
- Review structural and architectural drawings and understand project requirements.
- Develop design concepts from project specifications.
- Prepare design calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
- Check stability, strength, serviceability, and applicable load requirements.
- Apply dead, live, wind, seismic, equipment, and other relevant loads.
- Ensure compliance with IS, AISC, Eurocode, BS, or client-specific standards.
- Coordinate with detailers, Tekla modelers, checkers, architects, and project engineers.
- Review Tekla models and fabrication or erection drawings.
- Resolve clashes, technical queries, comments, revisions, and fabrication or site issues.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural steel design and analysis is required.
- Good understanding of steel members and structural connections is required.
- Ability to interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings is required.
- Knowledge of structural design codes and standards is required.
- Experience with STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent design software is required.
- Knowledge of Tekla Structures is an advantage.
- Good understanding of fabrication and erection requirements is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team is required.
Education and Experience
- B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is required.
- M.E. or M.Tech in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
- Preferred experience is 3–8+ years in structural steel design.
- Experience with PEB, industrial, warehouse, commercial, platform, pipe rack, or related structural steel projects is preferred.
- Experience with international projects and standards is an advantage.

- Work location is in person.
Compensation
- Pay is ₹30,000.00–₹50,000.00 per month.
