Role Overview
Seeking a Design Engineer to design water slides and aquatic play systems.
The role is based in Mumbai and includes detailed drawing preparation and safety compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Design water slides, aqua play systems, splash pads, and structural supports.
- Prepare 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D fabrication drawings.
- Develop general arrangement, layout, and installation drawings.
- Create BOMs, cutting lists, and fabrication details.
- Ensure designs comply with ASTM, EN, and IAAPA water park safety standards.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, site execution, procurement, and quality teams.
- Support site-related modifications and installation clarifications.
- Optimize designs for performance, safety, ease of installation, and cost.
- Liaise with clients and manufacturing and installation teams.
- Monitor and document the design process, schedules, and budgets.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of structural members, fasteners, and welding basics.
- Understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and material selection.
