Role Overview
Design and Application Engineer role focused on diesel generator sets, electrical panels, power systems, and EPC projects.
The role supports data center, backup power, and mission-critical applications.
The position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka and requires 5–10 years of experience.
Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in diesel genset design or application engineering, electrical panels, EPC, or power systems.
- Data center or mission-critical project experience is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure diesel generator sets, engines, alternators, control panels, and switchgear.
- Integrate electrical, cooling, ventilation, exhaust, fuel, and acoustic systems.
- Prepare CAD designs, installation layouts, wiring diagrams, and electrical or mechanical schematics.
- Prepare single-line diagrams, power system designs, noise calculations, ventilation calculations, and structural calculations.
- Prepare bills of quantities and review tender technical specifications.
- Evaluate climate, altitude, space, and seismic site requirements.
