Deputy Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day business functions of Venture Gulf Engineering Business Divisions to ensure smooth and efficient operation, and meeting customer and company expectation.
• Liaise with the Heads of Venture Gulf Engineering Business Divisions and identify any bottlenecks to boost productivity and cost effectiveness of each Business Unit.
• Gather, monitor, maintain and analyze data related to operational performance of each Venture Gulf Engineering Business Unit and report the result to Operations Manager.
• Identify and propose relevant resources needed including facility, tools, equipment, information technology and manpower to ensure business continuity and competitiveness in the market.
• Identify and propose new business opportunity or product line based on the capabilities of each Business Division.
• Review documents related to tender, contracts and agreements as and when advised.
• Deputize and/or act the role of Operations Manager in his absence particularly in decision making and solving conflict.
• Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource allocation to meet deadlines.
• Analyze operational performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage and mentor operations team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a high performing environment.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company regulations.
• Reports to Operations Manager.
