About The Business
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibility
- Manage and maintain all project documentation within the Electronic Document Management System.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing documents are registered, distributed, tracked and archived in accordance with project procedures.
- Perform quality checks on document metadata, numbering, revision status and document classification before submission.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, quality, vendors, and clients regarding document submissions and comments.
- Monitor document review workflows and ensure timely processing of transmittals, submittals, and correspondence.
- Maintain document registers and generate periodic reports on document status, review progress and aging.
- Ensure compliance with project document control procedures, standards, and client requirements.
- Support audits by providing accurate document records and traceability.
- Manage revision control and ensure only the latest approved documents are available for use.
- Track overdue reviews and follow up with stakeholders to meet document turnaround times (TAT).
Qualification
- Essential Qualification: Diploma / BE / B. Tech
Experience
Total Experience: 5-15 years
Additional Technical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of document control principles and best practices.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills for document status, KPIs and aging reports.
- Ability to work effectively within EIDA, SharePoint or similar document management systems.
- Experience in engineering, EPC, infrastructure or construction project document management.
- Familiarity with document numbering systems, revision control, and transmittal processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Understanding of quality management systems and document control procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Capable of communicating effectively with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
