Deputy Head of Information Governance role supporting the Head of Information Governance and Data Protection Officer.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Data Protection Officer as a Service offering for GP practices and Primary Care Networks.
- Advise primary care organisations on data protection, confidentiality, information sharing, records management, and UK GDPR.
- Work with senior leaders, clinicians, practice managers, digital teams, and external partners.
- Support compliance and ensure information is used safely, securely, and effectively.
- Help drive digital innovation, continuous improvement, and high-quality Information Governance services.
Requirements
- Applicants should be experienced Information Governance professionals.
- Leadership skills and technical expertise are required for the role.
- The role requires expert knowledge of data protection, confidentiality, information sharing, records management, and UK GDPR requirements.
