Job Overview
Parsons is seeking a Deputy Construction Manager focused on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
The role supports MEP matters for judicial branch facilities and coordinates plumbing, fire protection, and electrical engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead MEP system development while ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Manage MEP activities from project conception through completion, including budgets, schedules, and coordination.
- Provide technical guidance on MEP design, installation, operation, and complex engineering issues.
- Review, inspect, and test MEP designs and installations for quality and integrity.
- Lead and mentor MEP engineers and designers.
- Coordinate MEP equipment and material procurement with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery.
- Serve as the primary client contact for MEP systems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards governing MEP systems.
- Implement emerging technologies and best practices to improve project outcomes and efficiency.
