Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Dental Laboratory Technician role in Doha, Qatar.
The technician fabricates, adjusts, and repairs dental prosthetics and appliances using traditional methods and resin 3D printing.
The role involves digital scans and models, laboratory procedures, equipment maintenance, safety, quality, and collaboration with dental professionals.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, adjust, and repair dentures and other dental prosthetics and restorative appliances.
- Interpret dental prescriptions and work with digital scans, models, and digital impressions.
- Perform laboratory procedures that ensure accurate fit, precise results, and appropriate esthetics.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and follow safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with dentists, dental specialists, and internal teams to deliver consistent results.
- Maintain an organized, clean laboratory environment and support continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Strong laboratory skills in material handling, equipment operation, and standardized procedures.
- Applied knowledge of dental technology and dentistry principles for prosthetic and restorative work.
- Experience as a technician in a dental or medical laboratory environment.
- Hands-on dentures fabrication, repair, and adjustment experience.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM, 3D printing, digital impressions, and other digital dental workflows.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to produce precise, esthetic outcomes under time constraints.
- Ability to follow prescriptions, technical instructions, and quality protocols accurately.
- Relevant diploma or certification in dental technology or dental laboratory sciences is required.
- Additional digital or 3D printing training is an advantage.
- Effective communication, collaboration, safety compliance, cleanliness, and continuous learning are expected.
