Key Responsibilities
- Ensure coding meets regulatory and insurance requirements.
- Handle preapproval submissions and follow-up for dental procedures and treatments.
- Resolve preapproval issues with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
- Prepare and manage accurate medical-service invoicing.
- Collaborate with finance on timely and accurate billing.
- Submit claims and follow up on claim status.
- Correct and resubmit rejected or denied claims.
- Resolve claim discrepancies with insurance companies.
- Comply with HIPAA, UAE healthcare regulations, and other applicable standards.
- Maintain detailed coding, billing, preapproval, and submission records.
- Generate coding and billing reports for internal review.
Requirements
- At least two years of dental coding experience is required.
- Experience with medical coding, preapprovals, invoicing, submissions, and resubmissions is required.
- Knowledge of regulatory and insurance requirements is required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and local UAE healthcare regulations is required.
- CPC certification is preferred.
