Job Summary
Provide professional chairside assistance to dentists during examinations, treatments, and dental procedures.
Support general dentistry and orthodontic procedures, patient care, infection control, documentation, and clinic operations.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Prepare dental instruments, materials, equipment, and treatment rooms before and after procedures.
- Assist with general dentistry and orthodontic procedures as required.
- Prepare and support patients before, during, and after dental treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Infection Control and Operations
- Ensure proper infection prevention, sterilisation, disinfection, and clinical waste management.
- Monitor dental supplies and ensure instruments and equipment are maintained and available.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with clinic policies and applicable DOH requirements.
- Work effectively with dentists and the wider dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Quality and Patient Service
- Provide professional, courteous, and patient-centred service.
- Participate in mandatory training, competency assessments, quality improvement, and patient safety activities.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Dental Assistant license or eligibility.
- Previous dental clinic experience is preferred.
- Experience in general dentistry and/or orthodontics is an advantage.
- Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.
Work Location
- The work location is in person.
