Dental Assistant (with DOH License)

Job Summary

Clinical Responsibilities

• Prepare dental instruments, materials, equipment, and treatment rooms before and after procedures.
• Assist with general dentistry and orthodontic procedures as required.
• Prepare and support patients before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Infection Control and Operations

• Ensure proper infection prevention, sterilisation, disinfection, and clinical waste management.
• Monitor dental supplies and ensure instruments and equipment are maintained and available.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with clinic policies and applicable DOH requirements.
• Work effectively with dentists and the wider dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Quality and Patient Service

• Provide professional, courteous, and patient-centred service.
• Participate in mandatory training, competency assessments, quality improvement, and patient safety activities.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Dental Assistant license or eligibility.
• Previous dental clinic experience is preferred.
• Experience in general dentistry and/or orthodontics is an advantage.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.

Work Location

• The work location is in person.
