Role Description

Clinical and Patient Support

• Prepare treatment rooms, arrange instruments, and assist dentists during examinations and procedures.
• Welcome patients, update records, explain basic oral care instructions, and support a comfortable patient experience.
• Collaborate with the wider clinical team to support smooth clinic operations and timely patient care.

Safety and Clinic Operations

• Handle sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with clinical standards.
• Organize dental supplies and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Support efficient dental care delivery and day-to-day clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Strong dental assisting and dentistry skills are required to support dental procedures and patient care.
• Practical dental care and oral care experience, including chairside support and patient hygiene education, is required.
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control standards is required.
• Relevant dental assisting certification or diploma and prior clinical or dental practice experience are required.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills are required.
• Basic computer skills for patient records and clinic systems are required; English proficiency is required and additional languages are advantageous.
• A commitment to patient-centered care, professional ethics, and ongoing learning is expected.
