Dental Assistant

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, arrange instruments, and assist chairside during dental procedures.
• Welcome and prepare patients, maintain accurate records, and manage appointment schedules.
• Sterilize and organize equipment while following infection control and safety protocols.
• Support dental imaging and impressions and provide post-treatment instructions.
• Coordinate with the wider clinical team to maintain a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical support skills in dental procedures, treatment room preparation, and safe instrument handling are required.
• Knowledge of infection control, sterilization techniques, and dental health and safety standards is required.
• Patient communication, organizational, administrative, attention-to-detail, and manual dexterity skills are required.
• A recognized Dental Assistant diploma or certification and eligibility to work as a Dental Assistant in the UAE are required.
• Previous clinical or hospital-based dental practice experience is preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with dental or healthcare information systems are advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts according to patient care needs is required.

Workplace

• The role is full-time and on-site at Saudi German Health UAE in Ajman.
