The Demand Intelligence Manager is responsible for developing and leading the company’s demand forecasting and intelligence capabilities. This role translates historical demand, market trends, customer behavior, sales inputs, growth plans, and other demand signals into an accurate, forward-looking demand plan that supports inventory, purchasing, sales, and operational decisions.
The role serves as the subject matter expert for demand planning and partners cross-functionally to improve forecast accuracy, inventory availability, working capital, and overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Own and continuously improve the company’s demand forecasting and planning process across products, locations, and business units.
· Develop forecasts using historical demand, seasonality, trends, business growth plans, market conditions, promotions, and other relevant demand signals.
· Analyze demand trends, anomalies, lost sales, stockouts, backorders, and customer behavior to identify changes in true demand.
· Monitor forecast accuracy and bias and continuously improve forecasting methodologies.
· Translate demand intelligence into actionable recommendations for Inventory Management and Purchasing, including stocking levels, inventory positioning, and future supply requirements.
· Partner with Sales to incorporate customer and market intelligence into the demand plan.
· Establish and maintain demand planning standards, ERP parameters, forecasting rules, and data governance.
· Lead the demand planning component of S&OP/SIOP and communicate key demand risks, opportunities, and changes to leadership.
· Develop dashboards and reporting that provide clear, actionable visibility into demand and forecast performance.
· Identify opportunities to automate and improve planning processes and reduce manual work.
· Serve as the subject matter expert and advocate for data-driven demand planning across the organization.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Finance, or related field preferred.
