Generate revenue opportunities for portfolio startups by building bridges to the private sector.
Translate corporate demand into pilots, contracts, and paying customers.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage corporate and private-sector partner networks across procurement, innovation, and business units.
- Identify corporate pain points and match them with portfolio startup solutions.
- Design corporate challenges, pilot programs, B2B matchmaking days, and corporate-startup showcases.
- Support startups from introductions and pitches through pilots and contracts.
- Track pilots, proofs of concept, signed contracts, and startup revenue.
- Provide market intelligence on corporate sector, technology, and solution demand.
- Negotiate sponsorships, co-branded initiatives, and other program-level partnerships.
Required profile
- Five or more years of experience in B2B sales, corporate partnerships, business development, or a comparable commercial role.
- An established private-sector network is strongly preferred.
- Ability to translate between corporate procurement culture and startup needs.
- Strong negotiation skills and comfort owning a revenue-adjacent mandate.
Working relationships
Work with private-sector decision makers to develop startup engagement and commercial pathways.
Support portfolio companies through qualification, introductions, pilot development, and commercial conversion.
Share demand-side signals with the Startup Scouting and Pipeline Manager.
Coordinate with Investor Relations and Capital Access on corporate venture capital and strategic investors.
