Delivery Truck Driver

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely and on time while following the Driver Handbook and company policies.
• Complete pre-trip inspections, maintain log books, follow safe-driving practices, and keep certification documents available.
• Assist with production orders in the warehouse when not driving.
• Load and unload customer orders accurately and inspect materials for damage.
• Unload and accurately receive incoming products.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and at least one year of delivery driving experience are required.
• At least one year of experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles is required; two or more years is preferred.
• Candidates must be able to read and speak English under DOT guidelines and comply with DOT regulations.
• Candidates must complete the internal Driver Training Program and meet Amarr's motor vehicle standards.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• The role requires frequent bending, stooping, walking, carrying, and lifting of 50 to 75 pounds.

Schedule and Pay

• The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility for early or late deliveries.
• The pay rate is $22 to $27 per hour based on experience, skills, training, licensure, and certifications.
• Additional compensation may include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
