Delivery & Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Receive delivery requests and organize them by priority, location, and delivery schedule.
• Assign daily delivery routes and trips to drivers.
• Confirm delivery times and addresses with customers.
• Monitor drivers and scheduled delivery times.
• Resolve delays, address changes, customer unavailability, and other delivery issues.
• Plan efficient routes across Doha to reduce delivery time.
• Track delivered, postponed, and cancelled orders and update records.
• Confirm order readiness with the production team.
• Prepare daily reports on deliveries, delays, and team issues.
• Handle delivery feedback and complaints with management.
• Maintain accurate records and follow up on pending orders.
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous logistics or delivery coordination experience is preferred.
• One to three years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Doha and Qatar areas is required.
• Arabic communication ability is required.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.
• The role requires working under pressure, maintaining accurate records, and working effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and order or delivery tracking systems is required.

Working Hours

• The schedule is nine working hours per day, including a one-hour break.

Compensation

• The basic salary is QAR 3,500 per month.
• Other benefits are provided according to company policy.

Work Environment

• This is an office-based role at the company premises.
• The role involves regular phone and WhatsApp communication with drivers and customers.
• The position coordinates regularly with production, sales, and management in a fast-paced environment.
