Role Description

  • This is a full time, on site Debt Collector role based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
  • The Debt Collector will contact customers via phone, email, and other approved channels to follow up on overdue accounts and arrange payment plans.
  • Responsibilities include verifying account information, explaining payment obligations, negotiating settlement terms within given guidelines, and updating records in the company’s systems.
  • The role involves documenting all interactions accurately, escalating complex cases when needed, and ensuring that all collection activities align with legal and company policies.
  • The Debt Collector will collaborate with the finance and operations teams to support timely cash collection and meet individual and team targets.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection and Cash Collection skills, with the ability to handle overdue accounts professionally and consistently.
  • Candidates should possess clear and confident Communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
  • Candidates should possess solid Computer Literacy skills, including working with spreadsheets, CRM or collection systems, and basic office software.
  • Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Finance concepts related to billing, receivables, and payment terms.
  • Relevant experience in debt collection, customer service, or call center environments is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on site in Sharjah Emirate, meet targets, and manage high volumes of calls and accounts.
  • Knowledge of local regulations related to debt collection and confidentiality is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic or other language skills are beneficial.
