Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Master's degree (MBA) or professional certifications advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in dealer development, channel management, sales management, or related commercial roles
- 2+ years of experience managing dealer networks or channel partners preferred
- Strong understanding of dealer operations, channel management, and sales performance management
- Experience with DMS, CRM, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross functional collaboration abilities

The Role
- We are seeking an experienced Dealer Development Manager to lead the development, performance, and expansion of our dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dealer development strategies aligned with organizational objectives, network growth plans, and commercial performance targets
- Identify, recruit, evaluate, onboard, and support new dealers to strengthen market coverage and expand the dealer network
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with dealer principals, management teams, and key stakeholders to foster long term partnerships and business success
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, operations, after sales, customer experience, product, and executive leadership to implement dealer performance improvement initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including dealer sales performance, market share, customer satisfaction, service quality, profitability, inventory turnover, warranty performance, and dealer compliance
- Conduct dealer performance reviews, operational audits, market assessments, and business planning sessions to identify opportunities for growth and operational excellence
- Develop and deliver dealer training programs covering sales, customer service, operational standards, product knowledge, compliance, and business management best practices
- Support dealers with business planning, marketing initiatives, inventory optimization, facility development, digital transformation, and customer engagement strategies
- Ensure dealer compliance with brand standards, contractual obligations, operational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and business intelligence tools to monitor network performance and support decision making
- Prepare dealer performance reports, executive dashboards, territory analyses, network development plans, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop dealer development specialists, regional account managers, and cross functional teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, customer focus, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Automotive Management, Operations Management, Commerce, or a related field preferred
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certifications in Sales Management, Channel Management, Business Development, or equivalent are advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in dealer development, channel management, sales management, business development, franchise management, or related commercial roles
- 2+ years of experience managing dealer networks, channel partners, or regional business operations preferred
- Strong understanding of dealer operations, channel management, retail operations, sales performance management, customer experience, contract management, and business planning
- Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with automotive, equipment, consumer goods, industrial products, or franchise based distribution models, as well as digital retailing and AI powered sales analytics, is advantageous
- Strong leadership, commercial, analytical, negotiation, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, relationship building, coaching, and cross functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop high performing dealer networks while balancing customer satisfaction, operational excellence, brand consistency, and business growth
- Ability to work independently in remote and hybrid environments with frequent travel as required
