Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site DCDP/CDP role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Support daily pastry and bakery production, dessert presentation, hygiene, food safety, product quality, and pastry-section efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and dessert components according to standardized recipes.
- Assist with plating and presentation of desserts.
- Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards and ensure consistent product quality.
- Organize mise en place, manage stock rotation, and minimize waste.
- Contribute creative ideas, follow instructions from senior chefs, and keep the pastry section clean, orderly, and efficient.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in bakery and baking with hands-on experience in pastry production.
- Creativity applied to dessert design, flavor combinations, and visual presentation.
- Commitment to hygiene and food safety in line with local regulations and internal standards.
- Basic cooking knowledge to support broader kitchen operations when needed.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen or pastry environment; casual or premium comfort food experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting with attention to detail and consistency.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills, with reliability for shift work, weekends, and peak hours.
- Culinary or pastry-related certification or diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
