What You’ll Do
Lead a high-performing distribution centre team to ensure daily operational excellence.
Focus on team development, compliance, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and business goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, returns, value-added services, and inventory functions.
- Train, coach, support, and develop team members.
- Set expectations, provide feedback, and promote accountability.
- Build a safe, inclusive, and motivating work environment.
- Apply HR, employee relations, and progressive discipline practices fairly.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Coordinate daily priorities and service targets with internal teams.
- Drive simplification and improvement using data, feedback, and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate system transactions and inventory integrity through counts, audits, and investigations.
Team and Stakeholders
- Oversee distribution centre associates, organize their workload, and serve as their primary point of support.
- Assist the Department Manager in optimizing operational excellence.
- Collaborate with system specialists, wave planners, and the controlling team to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
