Role overview
The DC Operations Analyst monitors, analyzes, and reports on distribution centre performance across inventory, service, productivity, transportation, and warehouse operations.
The role provides actionable insights for operational excellence, inventory optimization, customer service, and continuous improvement across conventional and automated warehouse environments.
Performance and analytics
- Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and scorecards for distribution centre performance.
- Monitor service, productivity, inventory, capacity, transportation, and cost KPIs.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities, then provide actionable recommendations.
- Support forecasting, labor planning, capacity planning, performance benchmarks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Inventory and fulfillment
- Monitor inventory health, accuracy, availability, productivity, turns, aging, excess, and slow-moving stock.
- Support inventory control and replenishment improvements with Purchasing and Inventory Management teams.
- Monitor order flow from receipt through shipment, including service levels, open orders, backorders, and delivery commitments.
