Ajanta Pharma is hiring a Databricks Engineer for its Data Engineering team in Andheri, Mumbai.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions for the pharmaceutical business.

The position is full-time and work from office.

Design and maintain scalable data engineering solutions with Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL, and Apache Spark.
Build and optimize Databricks notebooks, clusters, jobs, workflows, and SQL Warehouses.
Develop pipelines and transformation frameworks for large-scale data processing.
Work with Delta Lake, Lakehouse, Medallion architecture, and data modelling.
Optimize jobs, queries, clusters, and pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost.
Maintain pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Airflow, and dbt.
Implement Git version control and CI/CD for data engineering workflows.
Use Unity Catalog for governance, access management, lineage, and discoverability.
Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and improve engineering standards.
