Role Overview
A client of Hire Feed is seeking a Senior Database Reliability Engineer for a full-time remote role.

- The stated payout is $220K to $260K per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize database architectures for performance and scalability.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery processes.
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis to reduce downtime.
- Integrate database best practices into engineering workflows.
- Evaluate and adopt technologies that improve database reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of database administration or reliability engineering experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar systems.
- Strong SQL and database optimization skills.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or managed database services.
- Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible for database deployments.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Ability to automate database tasks using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Understanding of database security, compliance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
