T he Database Analyst provides the primary capability for the conceptualization and development of databases for military models and simulations (M&S) used in computer assisted joint and combined exercises and rehearsals.

As a member of the Joint Staff J7 team, the selected candidate will be part of the database team and provide the primary capability for the conceptualization and development of order of battle databases for military models and simulations (M&S) used in computer-assisted joint and combined exercises and rehearsals.

• Responsible for; and participates in the design; planning; development; implementation; maintenance of; and administration of databases. The Senior Analyst will compile; synchronize; test; and participate in continuous improvements to military models to enhance performance; provide for increased functionality; and support version and release certification.
• Identifies; develops; and maintains parametric data for simulation databases. Maintains and reconciles entity class lists for simulation federation partners; and verifies and validates the integrity of systems and objects in Exercise Datasets (EDS).
• Conducts research of military units; organization; equipment; and Tactics; Techniques; and Procedures (TTP) using classified and unclassified sources. Translates real and fictional friendly and enemy force structures and associated objects into simulation databases.
