Database Administrator

Requirements:

• Required Database Experience/Knowledge:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• 2025, 2022 and 2019
• Geo-clustering, AlwaysOn Availability, & Replication, CDC
• Must have Microsoft Windows Server management skills
• Must be familiar with using Powershell
• Design for optimised queries
• Database encryption
• Database object modelling
• Database High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
• TSQL coding
• Additional Database Experience (At Least One):
• MongoDB
• MySQL (Innodb a plus)
• PostgreSQL
• Preferred DevOps skills:
• OS Experience in Microsoft Windows
• Server Configuration
• Monitoring
• Server Applications
• Services
• Scheduled Jobs
• Clustering
• Patching
• Scripting
• SQL and SQLCMD
• RedHat Linux
• Basic Linux user skills
• DBMS on Linux: Installation, Support, Troubleshooting and Monitoring
• Optional DevOps skills:
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Python, Bash or Ansible a plus
• Soft skills:
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation
• Ability to plan complex tasks into effective project timelines
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels either internally or with external clients and vendors
• Working Arrangements:
• This position is based out of Singapore/India. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions / geographies including EMEA and AMRS). This will include scheduled weekend work.
